Foundations: Where AI Fits on the Plant Floor
Establishes how to assess AI opportunities in manufacturing without disrupting the people who keep the line running. Sets the augment-first standard for every project that follows.
- Augment vs Automate: The Floor Test
- Finding the Tribal Knowledge Before You Automate
- Baselines, Metrics, and Honest Success Criteria
Predictive Maintenance That Techs Actually Use
Covers how to deploy condition monitoring and failure prediction that supports maintenance crews rather than second-guessing them. Focuses on trust, alert quality, and keeping the tech in command.
- Picking the Right Assets to Predict
- Alerts Techs Trust, Not Alerts They Mute
- The Repair Loop: Turning Fixes Into Better Predictions
AI Support for Quality Inspection
Shows how vision and anomaly-detection tools can extend an inspector's reach without removing their authority over what ships. Centers the inspector as the final call on quality.
- Where Vision Helps and Where the Eye Still Wins
- Building a Defect Library That Respects Expertise
- Catching Model Drift Before It Ships Bad Parts
Production Scheduling and Planning with AI
Covers using AI to handle scheduling complexity while keeping planners in control of the tradeoffs that need human judgment. Treats the schedule as a decision support tool, not an autopilot.
- Let the Machine Do the Combinatorics, Not the Judgment
- Explainable Schedules the Floor Will Follow
- Designing for Disruption and Override
Operator Copilots and SOP Automation
Covers building AI assistants that put procedures, troubleshooting, and institutional knowledge at the operator's fingertips while keeping safety and authority intact. Designed to onboard faster and capture knowledge before it walks out the door.
- A Copilot That Knows This Machine, This Shift
- Drawing the Line at Safety-Critical Steps
- Living SOPs: Capturing Knowledge Before It Walks Out
Rollout, Trust, and Sustaining the Program
Covers how to introduce AI on the floor, earn crew trust, and keep deployments healthy over time without eroding the workforce. Turns a pilot into a durable program people defend.
- Pilots That Earn Trust, Not Just Approval
- Saying What You Mean: Communication and Morale
- Keeping It Healthy: Monitoring and Floor Ownership
Each module ends with a checkpoint; the final exam unlocks once every checkpoint is passed.
A credential employers can verify in seconds.
Pass the coursework and the 70% server-graded final exam and you earn a certificate with a unique serial and a public verification page — tamper-evident and confirmable by anyone, with no account required.
See how verification worksIs the credential verifiable by employers?
Yes. Every certificate has a unique serial and a public verification page at digitalnetworks.ai/verify — no login required. Anyone can confirm it's authentic and unaltered.
What happens if I don't pass an exam?
Each module checkpoint allows up to 3 attempts. The final exam includes one attempt; additional retakes are $50 each. You keep full access to the coursework while you prepare, and the passing score is 70%.
Do I keep access after I finish?
Yes — enrollment is a one-time payment, and your coursework and earned certificate remain yours.
Is creating an account free?
Yes. Accounts are free; you pay once when you enroll in a certification.
