Cookie Policy

How and why Digital Networks uses cookies on digitalnetworks.ai, the small set of first-party cookies we set, and how you can control them. We use no third-party tracking or advertising cookies, and analytics stay off until you opt in.

01What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser to remember information between page loads and visits. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, can serve the same purpose, and we use one to remember your cookie choice.

We keep our use of cookies deliberately minimal. We set only first-party cookies — created by digitalnetworks.ai itself — and we do not use third-party advertising networks, cross-site trackers, or social media pixels on this site. The only cookies we set are the two described below.

02The Cookies We Use

We currently use two first-party cookies.

Strictly necessary — always on. Required for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice.

  • dn_consent — stores your cookie preferences so we do not ask again on every page. First-party. Lasts about one year. It is never used to track you, and it cannot be switched off without affecting core functionality.

Analytics — optional, off until you allow it. Lets us measure how the site is used so we can improve it.

  • dn_vid — a randomly generated first-party visitor ID used to count page views and visits in our own analytics. First-party. Lasts about one year. It is set only while you have allowed Analytics, and it is deleted from your browser as soon as you turn Analytics off.

03Your Choices and Consent

When you first visit, we show a cookie notice (after a short delay so you can look around) with three clear choices:

  • Accept all cookies — turns on the optional Analytics cookie as well as the necessary one.
  • Accept only necessary — keeps Analytics off and immediately reopens the preferences panel so you can opt in if you change your mind.
  • Reject all — keeps Analytics off and closes the notice.

Analytics is off by default and is only enabled if you choose to allow it. Strictly necessary cookies are always on because the site cannot function without them, but they are not used to track you.

You can change your decision at any time. Use the "Manage cookies" link in the site footer, or the "Manage cookie preferences" button on this page, to reopen the preferences panel and toggle Analytics on or off. Your choice is remembered for about a year, and we will ask again if we change the cookies we use.

04Analytics and What We Measure

Our analytics are first-party and privacy-minded. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics or advertising service, and the data stays in our own database.

When you allow Analytics, for each page you view we record: the first-party visitor ID (dn_vid), the page path, the referring page, and your browser's user-agent string. To keep this from being directly linked to a named individual, we collapse the booking ID in URLs (for example, /join/[id]) and strip query strings from referrer URLs before storing anything; the visitor ID is a random value, not your name or email.

We use this only to understand which pages are useful and how the site is performing in aggregate. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not sell or share this data. Turn Analytics off and the dn_vid cookie is removed and no further page views are recorded.

05Managing Cookies in Your Browser

Beyond the controls on this site, every major browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies and clear local storage. Look in your browser's privacy or site-data settings, or use its help to find the option.

Please note that blocking or deleting the strictly necessary cookie means we cannot remember your cookie choice, so you may see the cookie notice again on your next visit. Blocking cookies will not stop you from using the site.

06No Third-Party Tracking

Because we set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies and do not sell or share personal data for advertising, there are no third-party trackers on this site to opt out of. Our optional analytics are first-party and remain off until you choose to enable them.

If we ever add a new cookie or a new category, we will update this policy, list the cookie here, and ask for your consent again before setting anything non-essential.

07Changes and Contact

We may update this Cookie Policy as the site or our practices change. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date below. For how cookies fit into our wider handling of personal data, see our Privacy Policy at /privacy.

Effective date: June 10, 2026.
