Syllabus

5 modules, earned in sequence.

01

From One Workflow to a Function: People-Ops Deployment Architecture

Moving AI from a single proven recruiting workflow to the whole talent and people-operations function, with a portfolio view, shared infrastructure, and a deployment sequence that compounds trust instead of scattering pilots. Sets the Professional-tier baseline of programmatic deployment across teams over point solutions.

  • The Portfolio View Replaces the Pilot
  • Shared Infrastructure Beats Twelve Point Solutions
  • Sequencing Rollout to Compound Trust
02

Fairness and Privacy Governance at Function Scale

Building and governing the fairness and privacy controls that protect every candidate and employee the function's AI touches, with permissioned data, classification that travels with answers, and bias and explainability gates that survive a regulator. Moves fairness from one workflow's checklist to a portfolio-level discipline.

  • Permissioned People Data Over a Shared Platform
  • Fairness Testing as a Deployment Gate
  • Explainability, Notice, and the Adverse-Decision Obligation
03

Screening QA and Adverse-Impact Checks

Standing up the quality-assurance machinery that proves your screening and assist workflows are accurate, grounded, and non-discriminatory before and during use, with measurable metrics, evaluation sets, and named owners. Raises QA from a single recruiter's spot-check to a function-wide instrumented control.

  • QA Metrics That Make Screening Quality Measurable
  • Evaluation Sets and Adverse-Impact Testing You Re-Run
  • Diagnosing the Failure: Criteria, Model, or Real Disparity
04

Human-in-the-Loop, Escalation, and Agentic Workflows Across HR

Designing the human checkpoints, escalation paths, and graduated-autonomy patterns that keep an accountable person on every consequential people decision as AI takes more action across the function. Raises human oversight from one recruiter reviewing a queue to a governed pattern every workflow inherits.

  • Approval Gates Where the People Decision Becomes Consequential
  • Escalation: Routing Sensitive People Matters to a Human Fast
  • Least-Privilege Tools and Orchestrating HR Agents With One Owner
05

Adoption, Role Redesign, and the Operating Model Across HR & TA

Driving real adoption of a function-wide people-ops deployment, redesigning recruiter and HR roles around augmentation, and building the operating model that sustains the program after launch. Completes the Professional arc by addressing the people and organizational change that decide whether the technology actually sticks.

  • Adoption Is the Real Deliverable
  • Redesigning Recruiter and HR Roles Around Augmentation
  • The Operating Model That Sustains It

Each module ends with a checkpoint; the final exam unlocks once every checkpoint is passed.
