Reference Architecture for Enterprise HR AI
Establishes the architect-tier blueprint for AI across an entire people function: a layered platform with shared services, control planes, and a model lifecycle that scales from one recruiter's workflow to every team and site. Sets the structural decisions that the professional-tier function deployments depend on.

- Control Plane, Data Plane, Inference Plane
- The Enterprise Model Lifecycle for People Decisions
Bias, Privacy, and Compliance by Design
Treats fairness, privacy, and regulatory compliance as architectural properties built into the people-AI platform from the start, not policies bolted on after launch. Moves from one screening prompt's fairness to enterprise-wide protections that hold across every team, region, and req type at once.
- Fairness as an Architectural Property, Not a Prompt
- Privacy Boundaries the People-AI Pipeline Must Not Cross
- Explainability, Adverse Action, and Candidate Notice
HRIS and ATS Integration Across the Estate
Confronts the reality that enterprise people-AI lands in an estate of legacy HRIS, ATS, payroll, and benefits systems rather than a greenfield. Covers integration patterns, the anti-corruption layer, and orchestrating decisions across many systems of record without destabilizing the systems that pay people and store their records.
- AI Meets the HRIS and ATS: Integration Without Coupling
- The Anti-Corruption Layer and Event-Driven Seams
- Reconciling People Decisions Across Systems of Record
Regulatory-Grade Governance and People-Model Risk
Elevates governance from per-deployment documentation to a company-wide model-risk and accountability framework that a regulator, an internal auditor, and a board can all rely on. Connects people-AI governance to NYC Local Law 144, the EU AI Act, EEOC, and ADA expectations across every team and region.

Trustworthy People Systems at Scale: Reliability, Cost, and Trust
Treats the people-AI platform as critical infrastructure and engineers it for graceful degradation, capacity, cost discipline, and the human trust that determines whether the function actually works. Closes the architect tier with the non-functional requirements and the people-keep-intact principle that decide whether the system survives production.
