  • First augmenting integrations
Syllabus

7 modules, earned in sequence.

01

Seeing the Work as It Actually Runs

Before you automate anything, you have to map how work really flows, not how the org chart says it does. This module teaches you to find the bottlenecks that matter.

  • Map the Flow, Not the Org Chart
  • Find the Bottleneck That Actually Hurts
  • Respect the Connective Tissue
02

The AI Integration Sequencing Matrix

A repeatable way to decide what to automate, what to augment, and what to keep fully human, and in what order. This is the core decision tool of the Operator certification.

  • Two Axes: Stakes and Ambiguity
  • Automate, Augment, or Keep Human
  • Sequencing: Order Beats Ambition
03

Augment Versus Automate, Decided Well

The single most consequential operator decision is whether a step should run on its own or make a person better. This module gives you the criteria and the guardrails.

  • The Catchability Test
  • Design the Human Checkpoint to Be Real
  • Augment to Protect the Role, Not Hollow It
  • When to Leave It Alone
04

Building Your First Augmenting Integration

A concrete, end-to-end walkthrough of shipping a real augmentation that helps a person on day one. From scoping the slice to wiring the human review.

  • Scope a Thin Slice
  • Instructions and Examples Beat Cleverness
  • Wire the Review Loop Tight
  • Pilot With One Willing Person
05

Measuring, Protecting People, and Operating Over Time

An integration is not done when it ships; it is done when it keeps working and the team is better off. This module covers honest measurement, change management, and ongoing stewardship.

  • Measure What You Actually Care About
  • Change Management Is the Job
  • Watch for Drift and Quiet Failure
  • Expand, Hold, or Roll Back
06

The AI Assistant Landscape

Meet the four assistants you will use most - Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity - and learn what each is best at, so you always reach for the right one.

  • Four assistants, four strengths
  • Chat, search, or research?
  • The shape of a good prompt
  • Words that get better answers
07

Modes - and When to Use Each

Every assistant has modes. Learn what reasoning, deep-research, and canvas modes do, and choose the right one for the task instead of always using the default.

  • Standard vs. thinking modes
  • Deep Research mode
  • Canvas, Artifacts, and Spaces
  • Picking the right mode

Each module ends with a checkpoint; the final exam unlocks once every checkpoint is passed.
